⁹⁹The fundamental postulate of deterministic theories is that experiments on single events (repeated under exactly the same conditions) lead to identical results (numbers characterizing individual particles) . In indeterministic theories this postulate becomes invalid and is replaced by the postulate that repeated measurements on ensembles lead to identical results (probabilities and expectation values).
